LIDOCAINE PATCH - TOPICAL :- (LIE-doh-cane)

Uses :-
Lidocaine is a local anesthetic agent used to relieve pain associated with shingles (post-herpetic neuralgia). Lidoderm (lidocaine 5%) Pain Patch is the only topical drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration for PHN pain. Applied directly the Lidoderm Pain Patch to intact, painful skin, providing medication that doctors have used for years to relieve pain.
How To Use :-
Do not leave patch on for longer than 12 hours. If a smaller patch is needed, it may be cut with scissors before removal of the liner. If irritation or a burning sensation occurs, remove the patch and do not reapply until the irritation is gone. Avoid contact with eyes, open wounds, or mucous membranes. If eye contact occurs, wash eye immediately with water and protect eye until sensation returns.

Side Effects :-

Each Adhesive Lidoderm Patch Contains :- Each adhesive patch contains 700 mg of lidocaine (50 mg per gram adhesive) in an aqueous base.
